ASUS, gaming at full volume (and LED) the ROG Delta S Animate headphones arrive

Christmas and gaming have at least one thing in common: the importance of lights. It will also be for this reason that ASUS under the tree he just put the new ROG Delta S Animate headphones characterized by AniMe Matrix displays placed outside the two pavilions.

What is it about? Simple: these special displays can be programmed to show bright animations. A detail that will please gamers in general, and especially streamers, who will be able to show off a personalized look live.

But it’s not just LED that glitters: on a technical level the ROG Delta S Animate, which have an over-ear design, has a lot to say and rely on the Quad DAC ESS 9281 with MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) support, a solution that allows you to “reconstruct” the acoustic details of the original recording and allows you to take full advantage of premium audio streaming services.

The Quad DAC setting processes the audio streams without loss of quality, with four components in charge of managing the different frequency bands (low, medium, high and ultra-high) thus optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio (Snr) which is equal to 130 dB for a high-level experience with Hi-Res Audio support.

The ROG Delta S Animated is equipped with the ASUS Essence 50mm driver with a frequency response of 20-40,000 Hz. In terms of comfort, the D-shaped design of the pavilions has been studied to adapt to the shape of the ears, minimizing contact areas (20% less than equivalent headphones, according to what has been declared from the company), and the fit (weight is 310 grams) is made even more comfortable by the lining of the pavilions with the ROG Hybrid material, a solution that combines mesh fabric and fast-cooling protein leather.

On the pavilions, there are controls for adjusting the volume, light effects, and microphone, which is equipped with the technology ASUS AI Noise-Canceling with the dedicated processor to prevent your Discord teammates from having to hear family discussions or keyboard noise, thanks to the ability to reduce and attenuate over 500 million types of ambient noise without altering the vocal frequencies and the quality of the conversation.

Finally, the icing on the cake, the ASUS Rog Delta S Animate also has a ‘broad compatibility thanks to the combination of audio cable with a 3.5mm jack and USB-C and USB-A connectors. In this way, they can be used with PC, Mac, console, smartphone, and tablet.

In short, a high-level product, as confirmed by the price list: the ROG Delta S Animate is available from today to a price recommended to the public of 299.90 euros. Recall that ASUS ROG in October launched a line of furniture products in collaboration with IKEA to create your gaming station.
