BMW M3 Touring, the sporty station wagon shows itself without camouflage

During the summer of 2022, BMW will lead to the debut new M3 Touring, a highly anticipated model that we have talked about several times. Now, new photos of the sports station wagon which were published by wilcoblok’s Instagram account which recently shared the first photos of the Maserati Grecale and the sensational images of the new Ferrari Purosangue SUV. The new images allow you to see the car without any kind of camouflage. This is an opportunity to better observe the aesthetic details of the new sports car.

The front shows no big surprises. We already knew that it would be essentially identical to that of the M3. Therefore, there will also be the much discussed double kidney XL. What really changes is, of course, the rear. The photos also showcase the small air intakes behind the front wheel arches, the beefy bumpers and wheel arches, and the small aerodynamic appendage above the rear window. The car in the photos also features a particular black color and always black alloy wheels that appear to be 19 or 20 inches.

As for the engine that we will find under the hood, it seems that there will be the 3-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder of the M3 Competition from 375 kW (510 PS) with 650 Nm of torque. On the M3, this unit allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds. On the Touring version, the performance should be very similar. The weight increase could make you lose a few tenths in the classic 0-100 km / h sprint.

BMW M3 Touring will also be able to count on a 8-speed automatic transmission and on xDrive all-wheel drive. The German brand, therefore, is preparing to debut a model that will delight all fans of sports station wagons. The new M3 Touring will be just one of the many innovations that the manufacturer will launch in 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its M division.
