Future-proof Samsung Galaxy S22 and many other updates

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 +, S22 Ultra, Note 10, Note 10+: the news of the updates

Let’s start from Samsung with five models and all being updated also in Italy: the latest top of the range Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 + and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra; and the former flagships Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

They are extremely hot days for Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 + (here is our review) and S22 Ultra (here is our review): just today the worldwide sales have officially started and the first update has already arrived to file the last details for the benefit of the first buyers. Well, Samsung’s latest flagships are already futureproof on the software level: as you can see from the screenshot, an update from 811.19 MB which introduces the March 2022 security patch. Since the month of February is not yet over, not even Google has released them yet, nor has Samsung explained the details on its website. Given the size of the OTA file, the bugfixes and stability improvements reported in the changelog should be numerous. Although not explicitly mentioned, the hope is that the update also contains the fix for the problem reported in the past few days.

Regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 10 And Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, the major update to Android 12 and One UI 4 that we had reported to you in recent days has also arrived in Italy. OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro: the news of the updates

OPPO has just announced the new flagship series consisting of Find X5, Find X5 Pro (here is the our preview) and Find X5 Lite – without forgetting OPPO Pad -, but did not neglect the work on updates to the ColorOS 12 with base Android 12.

A few days ago four models had been added to the list and now the beta program for OPPO Reno4 and OPPO Reno4 Pro has started. Here are all the details:

  • for OPPO Reno4 Pro there are 5,000 places in India and as many in Indonesia, the inscriptions they will close on March 2nd and firmware version C.42 / C.43 is required.

OnePlus 9R, 8, 8 Pro, 8T, Nord 2 5G: the news of the updates

The OnePlus models in this collection are different and some appear twice, let’s be clear.

China

Only in China, where OnePlus smartphones have embraced ColorOS, OnePlus 9R is receiving the 12 stable version with Android 12 base. According to post announcement, firmware version A.15 is required to proceed. The manufacturer also reports a bug with the lock screen in the presence of numerous notifications, in short, not the maximum stability for a “Stable”.
