Galaxy S22’s 45W charger looks official

The chances of Samsung including a charger within the Samsung Galaxy S22 box seem slim, in fact,, not long ago a potential charger popped up that the company could sell separately. Today, clues have emerged that support this possibility.

Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +,, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are expected to support 45W fast charging, and such a charger for this range of smartphones has been spotted in Samsung’s official store, which incorrectly labels it as a charger for the Samsung Galaxy A8, and on a dealer website with model number EP-T4510.

It is worth noting that the charger in question can also work with all three variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and some previous generation Samsung smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra,, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22’s alleged 45W charger could cost 50 euros

Samsung currently already sells a 45W charger on its website, but it will likely be replaced by the new, faster, more compact, as well as more expensive model.

Samsung’s official website doesn’t mention a price for the new 45W charger, however,, Centralpoint assumes a cost of 50 euros. The South Korean giant could start shipping it by January 31, just a week before unveiling its high-end smartphones and tablets at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
