Let’s go back to dealing with HONOR Magic V, which is the first expected folding smartphone of this popular telephony brand and on which there are quite high expectations, supported by the possible presence in its technical equipment of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor.
Waiting for its official presentation, which should be scheduled for next month in China, interesting new details have emerged in the past few hours on some of the probable features of HONOR’s first foldable smartphone.
Some of the supposed features of HONOR Magic V
To say the popular leaker Digital Chat Station, HONOR Magic V should boast a generously sized internal foldable display (its diagonal was not specified) with a hole in the top right corner for a camera and a refresh rate at 120 Hz while the external display should come to support a refresh rate at 90 Hz and have a hole in the top center.
Other features of HONOR’s foldable smartphone should be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, a battery that supports 66W fast charging (unfortunately there is no information on its capacity), and a triple rear camera (with a 50-megapixel main sensor).
Finally, from the software point of view, HONOR Magic V should arrive on the market with on-board Android 12 and the latest version of Magic UI, the Chinese manufacturer’s custom interface.
According to the latest rumors, as well as on this device HONOR would be at work even on another foldable smartphone: it would be a clamshell model that could be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Even HONOR would have decided to focus on the folding smartphone sector, considered by many to be the one that could provide the most interesting ideas in the coming years.
It remains to be seen whether HONOR will be able to offer its models at aggressive prices or whether the manufacturer will decide to raise the bar.
