OPPO, since the official version of Android 12, has gone to great lengths to get it to its devices as quickly as possible, releasing several betas and stable of its ColorOS 12 for different devices. Now, four other devices from the company have joined the open beta program in China.
ColorOS 12 coming to four other smartphones
It is about OPPO Ace 2, OPPO Reno5 K 5G, OPPO K9 5G, OPPO A93 5G and, to join the beta program, it is necessary to have the latest firmware available on the aforementioned devices. Version is required for Oppo Ace 2 devices C.20, for OPPO Reno5k 5G version A.21, for OPPO K9 5G the A.10, and OPPO A93 5G the firmware A.14.
To register, just go to Settings, Software update, click on the gear icon, Request beta version, Update beta version and follow the on-screen instructions. Selected candidates will receive update via OTA within 3 working days of selection.
Beta registrations for the first batch have already ended for OPPO Ace2 and OPPO A93 5G and, are still open to date, December 29th, for OPPO Reno5 K 5G and OPPO K9 5G.
Since OPPO has released stable builds about a month after beta release, these phones will most likely have access to ColorOS 12 stable by the end of January 2022 or the beginning of February 2022.
