Directly from Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2022POCO presented the new ones POCO X4 Pro 5G And POCO M4 Pro. An absolute debut for the Chinese brand, which for the first time participated in the Spanish event with a space in the Xiaomi stand.
POCO X4 Pro 5G
The mid-range par excellence is back. The POCO X4 Pro 5G can count on a rich arsenal which, on paper, makes it again an excellent solution for those looking for reliable all-round performance for everyday use (and not only). The SoC is the Snapdragon 695 5Gwhich is flanked by 6 or 8GB of RAM depending on the model chosen.
To this is added the display from 6.43 “AMOLED, with 2400 × 1080 FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This is the first time we have found an AMOLED display on Poco’s X series. The 360Hz touch sampling rate should also be noted, for a smooth and, on paper, lag-free experience.

POCO M4 Pro
The other protagonist of the day is the new one POCO M4 Pro, which like its predecessor is confirmed on paper as a smartphone with a good quality-price ratio. The M3 Pro, we recall, was the first device with 5G support in the entry-level price range. Also for this he had gained the favor of the public and critics.
The display from 6.43 ”is an AMOLED DotDisplay with 2400 × 1800 FHD +, 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Among other things, we highlight the adaptive brightness up to 1,000 nit and the Eye Care Display and Seamless Display certifications that make it an excellent solution even for long uses. The POCO M4 Pro weighs 179.5g and is 8.09mm thick. It is the lightest smartphone in the history of the brand.
We then move on to the photographic sector, characterized by a triple 64MP main camera, ultra-wide 8MP and 118 ° FOV and 2MP macro. On the front we also find a 16MP camera.
The heart of this entry-level is the processor MediaTek Helio G96 (2.05GHz octa-core) with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPUflanked by 8GB of RAM which, thanks to Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology, can borrow another 3GB from the 256GB of ROM, rising to 11GB in total.
