Samsung launches assistance with Italian sign language

The Customer Service Samsung introduces a new assistance service to facilitate communication with people with hearing disabilities: assistance offers full support in Italian Sign Language (LIS). Here you are how it works and how to access it.

Samsung offers full support in Italian Sign Language

Samsung Italy Customer Care launches an assistance service to promote inclusion and accessibility in all its business areas. From now on, customers will be able to get in touch with a LIS interpreter in a video consultation, during which they will be able to obtain assistance and meet their needs. To arrive at this Samsung worked with theĀ (National Deaf Organization), which for more than 20 years has offered itself as a support for including deaf people in social life.

How to access the new Samsung support service? Just send an email to sei.contactus@samsung.com (with the subject “Sign language support request” and the chosen date and device in the text) to book the video consultation, which can be done via smartphone, tablet, or PC with a webcam. In this way, the customer can get in touch with a sign language interpreter and a Samsung expert, who will be able to support him in his request.
