WhatsApp Beta 2.22.6.5 hides a shortcut for creating call links

The ever-active WhatsApp development team has released a new update to WhatsApp Beta to subscribers to the Beta Program of the application. The new update, marked by the version 2.22.6.5while not bringing with it obvious and tangible news, it hides, within its code, a feature that will be enabled in a future update.

What’s new in WhatsApp Beta update 2.22.6.5 for Android

After updating the voice call interface some time ago, the team of Whatsapp is developing additional features to improve voice and video calls, including the ability to access a group call, even if it is already in progress.

Specifically, thanks to the specialized portal WABetaInfowe become aware that the update, the 2.22.6.5 Of WhatsApp Beta for Android brings with it a further novelty, which will make it easier to access a group call already in progress through the use of a “Call link”.

The user will be able to create a call link directly from within your contact list (reachable by pressing the phone icon at the bottom right of the “Calls” tab of WhatsApp): this link will be shared with anyone, even with those who are not part of their contacts.

This functionality is, to date, under development by the WhatsApp team and, therefore, it is not yet available even for those who have already downloaded the latest version of the WhatsApp Beta app.
