Xiaomi releases the first beta of MIUI 13 for different devices

Xiaomi, during the launch event of Xiaomi 12 and other devices, presented the new version of its proprietary MIUI interface, now in version 13 (here is the article with all the news). Based on Android 12, is only available on the new Xiaomi 12, but today the Chinese giant has released the first update in the beta version for different devices in China, with the stable version coming on next month.

MIUI 13 is coming to many devices

The released firmware is characterized by the number 21.12.27 and brings the news with its optimized performance, enhanced privacy, integration of smart green products from Xiaomi, and so on. Here is the changelog of the update to MIUI 13 beta:

  • Added some Mi Magic features with support for interconnecting mobile phones and tablets for seamless content flow between devices

  • Added face verification security features and privacy watermark

  • Added full-link electrical fraud protection to protect against telecom fraud

  • Added a new system font Mi Sans, visually clear and comfortable to read

  • Optimize the core experience faster and more stable

Xiaomi smartphones eligible for the MIUI 13 Beta version in China include Xiaomi Civil, MIX 4, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Youth Edition, Pad 5, Pad 5 Pro, Pad 5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10S, Redmi K40, K40 Pro, K30S Extreme Edition, K30 Extreme Edition, Mi 10 Extreme Edition, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30, K30 5G, K30i 5G, K30 Pro, Mi 10 Youth Edition, Redmi Note 9, Note 9 4G, Note 9 Pro, Note 10, Note 11 5G, 10X Pro, 10X and Xiaomi CC9 Pro.

The rollout of the stable version, barring complications, will take place from next month. The first release phase will include Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Pad 5 Pro 5G, Pad 5 Pro, and Pad 5, while the timeline for the second and third stages will be revealed later.
