Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 +, And Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have yet to come out and we do not know the price lists (although we can get close to them), but thanks to the analysis carried out by Idealo we can already have an idea of what the price trends in the next months.
The prices of the Samsung Galaxy S22 in the coming months: here is the trend
Samsung will present the next flagships in a few days, during the Unpacked of 9 February 2022 (which, by the way, you can follow with us in live streaming), with the three smartphones that should be available in stores and online from the end of the month (subject to delays, not to be excluded). Among the various hypotheses that are circulating regarding sales prices, for its analysis Idealo considered the following price lists:
- Samsung Galaxy S22 128 GB – 849 euros
- Samsung Galaxy S22 + 128 GB – 1049 euros
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128 GB – 1249 euros
After taking into account the performance of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series with the same internal memory of 128 GB, the following price drops over the months can be assumed:
- Samsung Galaxy S22 could be available for just over 700 euros after about three months from its release, with a decrease of 15% (-127 euros); already after two months we could be able to take it home with a discount of about 100 euros, while to see the figures go down by 22% (-187 euros) we will have to wait at least five months. Afterward, as we have seen with the Galaxy S21 this year, prices are expected to stabilize.
- Samsung Galaxy S22 + should fall more, given the higher initial price: a 17% lower cost is expected after two months (-170 euros, or about 870 euros); after four months it could be available around 730-750 euros, with a decrease of 30%.
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could be purchased with a 15% discount after a couple of months (-187 euros); those who are not in a hurry may be able to buy it for less than 900 euros after five months.

Those who are not in a hurry to change smartphones and buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 could therefore save a few hundred euros in a few weeks. On the other hand, as has already happened several times, Samsung may likely include some interesting giveaways with the pre-orders of the new flagship series: headphones were given away with the Galaxy S21 series last year (Galaxy Buds Pro or Galaxy Buds Live depending on the model) e Galaxy Smart Tag.
