Motorola did it! Moto Edge X30 is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and camera under the display

After the weeks of rumors and declarations made, the race has come to an end and the winner is yours Moto Edge X30. Yes, because it is not only the first smartphone to become official with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but it is also the first with this CPU and the room under the display, but let’s see it better.

The display’s a 6.7 ″ OLED with resolution FHD + and a refreshes rate of 144Hz. Here, however, a distinction must be made, the display of the basic version is equipped with a hole for the room front from 60MP with a 1 / 2.8 ″ sensor, the one equipped with a camera under the display is a special edition. The module, however, is the same so it will be very interesting to see the difference in performance and understand what it loses in quality by being under the display.

At the back we have the main room from 50MP with 1 / 1.55 ″ optically stabilized sensor (OIS), a secondary one always with 50MP but ISOCELL S5KGM1 wide-angle sensor and a depth sensor.

They are onboard Android 12, memories UFS 3.1 And LPDDR5, and a battery from 5000mAh with a quick charge of 68W. The performances declared by Motorola are 20% higher for the CPU, 30% for the GPU, and 400% for the artificial intelligence functions.

From December 15 will be available in China in memory cuts from 8 / 128GB to 3199 CNY (€ 444), 8 / 256GB at 3399 CNY (€ 472) and 12 / 256GB at 3599 CNY (€ 499). The version with the camera below the display will cost CNY 3999 instead (€ 555).
