How does the first season end?

The Captain Picard loses his life due to the worsening of his syndrome. The story of this character is not over yet: his consciousness is transferred inside an android created by the human cyber scientist Soong. Before returning, Picard – in quantum simulation – says “goodbye” to Date, a close friend of yours. The android asks the captain to erase his memories from B-4.

Jean-Luc Picard and his crew embark on an exciting new journey in the past. The protagonist of the series, in a desperate race against time, must enlist new and old allies to face the dangers of the Earth of the 21st century and face one of his greatest enemies.

The cast

Below you will find the cast of Star Trek: Picard 2. The protagonist is played again by Sir Patrick Stewart, an actor active in television, film and theater (honorary member of the Royal Shakespeare Company). He has lent the face of the captain of the starship Enterprise, the legendary Jean-Luc Picard, in the television series Star Trek-The Next Generation. Stewart also plays this character in some films: Star Trek – Generations (1994), Stra Trek – First Contact (1996), Star Trek – Insurrection (1998) and Star Trek – Nemesis (2002). He also owes his notoriety to his role as Professor X in the X-Men saga. The actor also appeared in Dune, Little Lord, Robin Hood, Green Room, Fall of the Eagles, The Mole, Hamlet, Death Train, Hamlet and Blunt Talk.

Alongside Patrick Stewart we also find Alison Pill in the role of doctor Agnes Jurati. The Canadian actress – who made her debut at age 12 – has appeared in several films, including Dear Wendy, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Midnight in Paris, To Rome with Love, Snowpiercer, Ave, Cesare! and Vice – The man in the shadows. Alison Pill, also active on the small screen, has also starred in the series In Treatment, The Family, American Horror Story and Them.

Michelle Hurd plays the role of Raffi Musiker (a human who served in the Starfleet). The performer is known for the roles of Athena Barnes (in Leap Years), Colleen Manus (in The Glades), Linda Bates Emery (in Ash vs Evil Dead) and Ellen “Shepherd” Briggs (in Blindspot). Michelle Hurd also appeared in Lethal Wepon, Daredevil, Hawaii Five-0, 90210, Gossip Girl, Law & Order – Special Victims Unit and Destinies.

In the second season, John de Lancie lends the face to Q (an entity belonging to a seemingly immortal, omnipotent and omniscient species). John de Lancie plays this character in the Star Trek saga (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager). The actor is also known for starring in The Legend of the Fisher King, Hand in the Cradle and Breaking Bad.

They were reconfirmed also other actors already appeared in the first season of Star Trek: Picard: Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Harry Treadaway, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady, Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner. The new entry are Annie Wersching and Whoopi Goldberg (also appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation).

Star Trek: Picard 2 in streaming: the release date
